there is Spa-Francorchamps 24 hours for touring cars.

At the time, MAZDA hadn't done a race in Japan,
but the experience of Marathon De La Route was big,

In 1969, they got 5th and 6th place after the four Porche 911.

Our big enemies were BMW Alpina2800Cs, and Alpha Romeo GTAm In 1970.
In the race, the top was taken by Familia instead of BMW.
And they really showed a dead heat.

Three Familia of four were retired at the last phase,
but the one Familia which was the only alive got 5th place.

The race was so exiting
because of the rotary cars remarkable run which gave the winner BMW hard time.
